kat- it was lovely seeing you so unexpectedly this saturday. if i had it to do over, i would have asked to see your portfolio and that curious canvas you had modestly turned away from my view- i guess i was just so darn anxious to get to work on my fish. i'm glad you liked them, i was pretty sure you would. so sorry if i might have seemed rude and hasty, in short. im kind of in a fish mood this week, and they're not exactly the most thoughtful or articulate creatures you see...
